Out Posts:


Location: They can be on any side of your map, and a little bit on your enemies map. At the beginning before you start the game, people that want to be builders can select that feature for themselves. There will be a level limit, and if there is too many people wanting it, the top 10 will get the job.

Now the out posts will be just a ground and second level square building. The entrance to the outposts will come from underground. The builders of the out post will need to have the supplies just like for the walls and towers. No moats or siege can be in the out posts.


Digging to and from the out posts: When built the players will receive a pickaxe, unless they have one, and will start digging to their base. An arrow will point the way, but not give the exact coordinates.

When digging to the out post, all you know is its general location on the mini map. If a tunnel has been built to it, it will be much easier to ID where it is. Fog of War still counts when tunneling these.


Now you can place you outposts on the far corners of the map, or have them defend you castle. The point is that they are areas for rangers and mages to go, this helps balance things with the new confusion of weapons, helmets, and capes that are given.


Helmets and Capes:


Weapons: Weapons will be tinted to color of your God, usually a red blade with black hilt/ Blue blade with White hilt. Weapons such as a Whip or D Great Axe can easily be ID, but they will still get the color make over.

Armor: Your armor will transform into red base, with black outlining/ Blue base with white outlining. The symbol of your god will be on the plate and shields. Chain will have a similar effect, but will have different colored chains for the trimming and symbol.

Capes: All cape will turn to the color of their God, Blue Base with white outline, Red Base with Black outline. This is ALL capes; normal, legend, fire, skill capes, QP capes, etc.


Having this affect added will make it extremely easy to see your enemies, but beware as players with barrows can finally cause chaos.


Rewards and Tickets:


Prizes: Now the armor right now isn't so great, its fine in stats and all but the look of it really rubbish. Come on we don't want a Zammy and Sara Armor combination! We also need something for the Rangers and Mages, the defenders of the walls!

Prices on the items might increase a little bit, the stats will remain the same. Other items like the banners will still be in the shop.
  1. Guthix Team:
Now frankly I think a Guthix Team would be a bad idea to add in this post for a couple reasons.


He would never fight in a war like this he is balance (Notice he's not in GodsWar Dungeon)

To much for Jagex to make right now.

Cause even more chaos which is good but bad.

Destroys the random team placer.

Castle Wars needs to get an even bigger map update.

Teaming up on one team.

Server Lag increase.


If Guthix is made, I wish he will be to help restore order. He will gain all the benefits like Zamorak and Saradomin does, it would be fun to see the complex tunnels, cause an actual war like scenario, constant struggle to survive, helps eliminate a team from carrying its own flag, helps crush the stronger team out of the three, and many more reasons.

Game time:

Thanks to the large map increase, the game of Castle Wars should last longer. 10-30 minutes will be plenty of time, and I’m sure that these great updates will cause a mass amount of players to start playing the mini game, which in turn will make the game easier even with all it's new defense and traps.

The wait time in the rooms should be around 6-7 minutes to help fit more people in. and there should be a better count down on when the game will start. Going from exact seconds will help people in the waiting room, and out of it know where it's time.

Other ideas

The Castle Wars building has a few drawbacks. The chief of which is that it has no deposit box. If you win a game and then go to the bank chest you might have to put in your pin. Why is this a big deal? Because while you're punching in the numbers a massive surge of people are rushing into their teams, and by the time your lucky enough to get to a portal you have to wait three or four minutes to get in. Meanwhile, the next game has started and you just end up world hopping.
Also, the building could use some simple refurbishing. Something so popular deserves to look as cool as it is fun to play.

The waiting rooms are so incredibly drab and depressing. If i have to wait in a room for five or ten minutes I would like it to at least be a cheery room.
Also, why do the Saradomin and Zamorak rooms look the same? The gods themselves would be jealous and angry. Just imagine how all the thousands of loyal followers filtering in and out all day feel like. I think that each room should be a tribute to and sanctuary of each god. The Zamorak room should be a massive structure of black obsidian stone pillars. decorated with torches, fires, and the laughing statues of demons. The Saradomin room should be a temple of white marble with light from cool lamps and water from soothing fountains. Both rooms should center around a massive statue of their god. They



OTHER RANDOM IDEAS

Viewing portals that show you the game (including the castles, undergrounds etc.)
put a rune and arrow shop with either with Lanthus, or at the bank like in the bank/shop in the Lumbridge basement.
Standards that you drop/place have your flag on (works the same when taken from either castle).
Alters in the castles
Why not have a circle that is either red or blue around you, also your name changes to red or blue so if there is a pile up so we can wear capes and helmets
boiling oil on the castle walls? You would need to refill it just like you need to load a catapult.
In game kill count display.
