getting credits is posting and making threads and selling club penguin accounts and making a sig for someone for about(for example)50 credits

That's what I was going to say!
Credits are earned by all sorts of stuff! Posting is the most easiest way (Double posting and spam is not the way to go). Posting in a wrong forum can make you lose credits.
Ordering signatures will cost you credits, But it is a trade!
Making signatures for others can earn you credits if you make it right!
If you have a account for sale as MHD said can give you alot of credits, I bought 'Drphdave' and it cost me 23,000 credits. I would not sell a penguin that is still going through membership though!
But discussion about rude or bad things can lead to a fatal ban Which is like losing 999,999,999,999 credits!
