I don't think you should worry if they ask how to be a mod. Asking TO BE one is different though.

I know it says you need 2000 posts to be a mod, but that's not exactly true. You just have to have a reasonable amount of posts. I mean we don't want a user that has 10 posts to be a mod right?

BTW if you want to have a good chance of being a mod, you should also report spam.
