well, people use differant programs, like paint shop pro. and photoshop (you would have to download it)

Are you kidding me? Those cost a lot, especially when you're new! Start off with Gimp and/or Paint.

if you want make a sig go to glitter or picodle and register there and you will be able to make a sig

And if you're still not sure, you can go look in the CPC tutorials. They should tell you how to make a sig.
