Bumping & Requesting to be locked. Help for newer users. *Please read*

Bumping

I know it is no big deal and I don't really care myself but please refrain from posting in topics in the noob forum more then a few weeks old, especially if they have already been answered. It gets annoying having to lock old questions in the noob forum that were answered in 2007, 2008 or earlier in this year.

Requested to be locked

This applies to the same thing stated above. When someone says "Requested to be locked" There is no need for three other people in a row to say the same exact thing. That is called spam. Just because a mod doesn't see it within ten minutes doesn't mean they won't see it. And even if they don't see it there is no need to bump it a year later saying "Requested to be locked" It's history by then so let's leave it like that. Okay? Okay. (:

If other mods want to add their two sense (Or take away mine) you are welcome to do so.
I am just posting this cause it is getting annoying to see topics from months ago and even years ago.

Unless other mods have gotten them first I haven't seen one bumped topic in the noob fourm unless again, I am not really looking.
So I hope this is working. ^.^
