Ok. I've noticed that a lot of people have been "bumping a topic" lately. Some of the new users might have not read the rules, or for some reason just don't know what "bumping a topic" means. Well, I'm going to tell you.

Say, for instance, 2 years ago, I posted a thread about the Club Penguin Snow Festival in February, 2007. Then recently I saw the thread in the New Posts. I clicked it, and as an example, let's say a new person replied to it. It could be comepletely on-topic, not spamming, nothing bad. It could be a 100% quality post. But, it's still what's called Bumping a Topic. Also, it could be a bot bumping the topic. It still doesn't mean you should reply. It's an old post! Why reply to it?! There's no point in replying to it. Just because it has been bumped, doesn't mean it's suddenly "open" and can be replied for then on. It's a habit for me now to check the date of the post. People should get into the habit of that, too.

• REMEMBER- It's not always new users. I have seen some senior members do this, too.

I've seen this happening a lot lately. I hope it'll stop now.

umm....i know tht u said tht u have seen some seinor members doing this but shouldnt it be moved to the noob forum??? this really isnt a tutorial...

Well, the noob forum is for asking questions about something on CPC that you don't know the answer to. I'm not asking anything. So, this shouldn't be in the noob forum.

Actually, it depends. If the game has been continued, then it's NOT bumping a topic. But if the last post is really old, and someone posts in it continuing the game, IT IS bumping a topic.
