Bumping Topics...

Even though it is not a rule, bumping topics is getting really annoying lately. And you can recieve infractions if you do it continuously. Some of you may not even know what bumping a topic means.

Well bumping a topic is:

When you post in a thread that hasnt been posted in for over a month. Like if the last post was in February, and you post in the thread, you BUMP it back up to the top of page.

Bumping Topics is a form of spamming. And it wont be tolerated. Please, kindly remind someone if they are bumping topics.

Excactly.

When threads arent posted in, they start to go DOWN the page. And eventually go into the second and third pages. However, when you post in that thread, it comes allllll the way back up to the first page.

I think bumping topics is very confusing... sometimes people tell me not to when they are two weeks old so I think "where did they get that idea?" i noticed the moderators seem to have different opinions... Jimm1 said it was 2 months BTW I have heard bumping stickies is o.k. but I am not all sure

Well we all have different opinions, I dont really care if a topic is bumped, if its a good topic, like a huge game or something with alot of posts.

I know it is annoying but how could an infraction be given if bumping isn't against the rules?

how about if they bump along forgotten little topic worth locking they can get a worning

ya I hate it when some people bump threads I have seen it qite recently though and some senior members are doing it too
