I listened, an update on signatures.

Ok, i have done allot of reading over the recent rants about signatures and I have come up with a solution that all of you may not be aware of. In fact I have already put the permissions in place.

Why I removed sigs in the first place?
Well basically users have been abusing the sig rules and making the forum a little slower, and much more UGLY with the rediculous huge signatures. In fact most of the users that were abusing these rules were NEW, LOW POST COUNT users.

I am sure many of you agree with this statement above, so I got rid of sigs all together and the users spoke up and indeed ranted, which is ok because it shows me the users of CPC do care.

I listened...and
have come up with a compromise. If you are Emporer or above (King, Royal, Rockhopper) you automatically get your sig back for good and all posts that you have will automatically refresh with your sig.

I think this is a fair compromise and rewards good users that have very informative posts, adding fresh content to the community and well out of the reach of spammers which will be caught before the minimum post count is reached.

Lastly, you spoke I listened and removed some ads throughout posts which cluttered up CPC.

As far as the money/credits, the upgrade actually turned into a large project and I am working on a solution. I am sorry but these things happen

I'm glad you listened to us, Admin. It is true that most of the users who were abusing the sig rule were new. And your solution to this sounds reasonable. So only people who are members to an igloo are allowed to have sigs and people who are below 500 posts must earn their right to have a sig? Sounds good.

Keep in mind, DO NOT SPAM because mods can easily remove spam posts that will be removed from your post count and trigger a loss of your priviledge to have a sig.
