How To Start Threads Properly

TITLES

Titles are very important in threads. A good title will attract users to read your topic. Always make sure that you create a detailed and relevant title for the thread. Titles such as "OMG" or "click here" are perfect examples of titles which are irrelevant to the thread and would attract less users to view it. Also avoid using multiple punctuations like "!!!!!!" as it makes the forum look unprofessional.

CONTENTS

In starting new threads, make sure that it has not been posted before in the forum. If you are unsure if the thread you are about to start has never been posted, you can use the Search button. A new fresh content is also important as it would bring more people to read your thread. Also avoid mixing different topics in one single thread and try to focus on one general topic. Make sure that the flow of the content follows a logical sequence. Avoid talking in circles and don't forget to use correct grammar and spelling. There are cases where you will include pictures relevant to the thread (e.g. in tutorials) but make sure that the picture has a reasonable size and doesn't stretch the page.

FORMAT

Avoid typing in ALL CAPS too much. Proper sentences are started with a capital and ended with a punctuation. You must also avoid using multiple punctuation and smilies in your post. Make sure to use colors which are easy to read and avoid using very small or very big font size to make it easier for everyone to read your post understand it properly.
