My Poems

[Xtreme22]

Well...i wrote these at about 11:30 at night last night. I always seem to be thinking very deeply and i'm lost in my own world so i instinctvly grabbed a paper and pencil and just wrote. Here they are: Please rate them!

Unknown Name*
One last grab for a hand not there
An empty seat now stands with me,
Never to be filled again.
Feelings of fear and emptiness fill
Pushing out a voice never heard again
Yet the sound is still there,
My emotions write as my hand reaches,
But can only catch a memory
That is all, just a faint smile

A Lost Friend

They can never be replaced
But are only found when they are lost
Which is why we treasure what we had
And not push it away and hide it
For we know what is lost is looking for a place to go
A place to call home
So we keep what we can have,
And we discover what we lost.
And we keep it all together in one place,
A place we call our hearts.

A Locked Door

A light shadow stands near my bed,
A messenger giving memories to my head
A locked door never to be open,
They key is not findable, yet not lost
You are the blacksmith, the only one
You build your own door and key
But unwillingly lock it and lose it
All that is left is the shavings and scrap
And that’s what you keep, forever
The one piece of wood and metal
And you use it to build new doors and keys,
That will be locked when you least expect it…
