Little Help?

Right, let me start my saying that I start my GCSE English preparations next week (which is a pretty important exam that you must take before you leave school - which I'm not yet). I've basically got to create a type of creative story, consisting of 1000+ words. I won't have trouble writing the thing, but I'm a little stuck as to what to base my coursework on.

I know there's some pretty intelligent people on here, so I'd appreciate any suggestions as to what you think I should do. I really appreciate all suggestions and best suggestion/s may get a certain amount of coins or a custom signature of their choice.

Just remember to be creative in your ideas. And please remember I am not asking you to write this for me, I just want suggestions as to what you think I should base this 1000 word coursework on.

Maybe it could be about a computer addict who goes on the computer like all day and then transforms into a sport person. Like this: Endless hours on the white mac computer gaming forever. And then his mom gets mad at him or her and wont let him in until he finds a sport he can do besides playing on the computer and he tries the games he likes on the computer and finds out its funner in real life.

I'm actually looking for a topic, rather than for you to write the thing for me - that'd be cheating. But thanks anyway.

It could be about these two friends, and one is dying from cancer. And the other one only has ONE week to spend time with him/her until they pass away. And it can be about what they do, and the struggles they have to go through.

I've come up with an idea of my own too, about a former army officer, who takes drugs to ease his mind of what he saw when he was serving in a certain country. Gradually his drugs problem gets worse and he is sucked into a complicated world of crime.

Any other suggestions?
