My friends are getting braces too. And one of my friends said it hurts when they tighten them. And my other friend who is getting braces will have the same colors as her. They are called ~ watermelon colors ~
Well I wish you luck! Just please replie back and tell me if getting braces really DO hurt. Because i will be having them too in a few years! Or less! SCARY!

One of my best friends has braces. It runs in my family that we should get braces ( in youth) and I think I might get them soon. Don't really want them... no, not at all... well I hope they do not hurt... : (

nikki 109576, please don't triple post.

For braces, once you get them, they will hurt a lot. You would be able to chew NOTHING! But after a while, you will get use to them and it won't hurt anymore. You will get so use to them that you can't even imagin yourself without braces.

it only hurts the first few 30 secs that they are trying to put it on i have them. After its on it might not hurt,but the next day it started to hurt for me and i couldn't eat one of my favorite foods Pizza for a few days

well it just hurt like the first week because I have some and the first week it was annoying but after awhile you dont realy feel them
