Money: 9,445 |  Do YOU think this is fair? Do you think this is fair? A few days ago, my teacher gave us a quiz on Perimeter and area. It was real easy, but long. I and a few other people could not finish so my teacher told us that we would have time in math class to do it the next day. The next day, my teacher was at a workshop so a sub came. In math class, she handed out the quizzes and said these exact words, "Don't worry about putting the units, just focus on getting the numbers.". So I went ahead and did all the problems. Two days later, my teacher has had them graded and hands them out. I got every single problem right but he took 25% off because "I forgot to include the units" so I got a C when I should have gotten and A+. Me and a few other friends who did the same thing went up to him and told him what happened. We told him what happened but he still refused to change our grades. This actually happened to me and I am still mad about it! I want your opinion on this.

Money: 57,737  | No that is not fair! You should tell your techer what the subsitue told you about the units, I'm sure he would understand. In my math class you ALWAYS put the units by the numbers, so next time just write the units too just in case. EDIT: If your teacher ignores you then get a parent to talk to him. Dang, your teacher sounds like my 5th grade teacher... what a *bad word* | ||||||||
