When requesting something, its best to be
specific. Its easier for the designer to know excactly what he/she is going to make. You may want to fill out a small application type form describing everything you want in the sig or avatar.
If decide to make avatars or signatures for other users, its best to tell what you are capable of making, so your customes know how to request their perferable avatar or sig. If you can only make things with green backgrounds, than you should announce that in your first post, so there is no cause for confusion.
